Outdoor Felton Guild Wedding in the Redwoods.

It was such a pleasure to be a part of Alicia and Chris’ lovely woodsy outdoor wedding at Felton Guild in the redwood cathedral.  Watching the two lovebirds tie the knot and having their large and loving families come together was incredibly touching.

Siblings, half siblings and step siblings made up the bridal party, bringing their extensive family together. Instead of doing a first look they did a first touch which settled nerves but did not ruin the surprise.  It was very touching (no pun intended) and really helped calm both of them down.  When they finally did see each other at the ceremony you could see the excitement on their faces, it was truly a beautiful thing to witness!  The ceremony was filled with love from both sides of the family, all their friends, and ended with quite an amazing first kiss!

The wonderful thing about Felton Guild (besides the gorgeous redwoods and grounds) is it is right next to Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park where we snuck away and took some absolutely lovely portraits.  My favorite part was going barefoot with them into a stream (so refreshing on a hot day!).  I am always open to couples who are adventurous and willing to go barefoot into nature with me!

The reception was fun, sunny, and filled with laughter and some epic dancing! Family members put together the flowers and they had a lovely diy photo booth set up.  The food was delicious from Blue Rock BBQ, I am always a fan of delicious bbq especially pulled pork sandwiches and it just added to the backyard outdoor wedding vibe!

After some amazing dance moves and some excellent cake they were sent off with a flurry of  bubbles to drive off into wedded bliss!

Congratulations Alicia and Chris!

xoxo,
Katelyn
