Lovely V. Sattui Winery Wedding
Have you ever instantly hit it off and made a connection with someone? This is exactly how I felt with Stacey and Colin and was so excited to photograph their lovely winery wedding. Immediately I felt welcomed into the group almost as if I was a guest!
I was in awe of where Stacey was getting ready at her parents house in Napa. Everything was gorgeous, light and airy and perfect for photos. With an amazing attention to detail Stacey had matching robes for all of her ladies and custom champagne flutes which were both super cute! Adorably, her something old was a piece of her moms old wedding dress sewn into the hem of her own and as I am a sucker for sentiment that one really touched my heart.
The ceremony and reception were held at V. Sattui Winery which is a special place for Stacey. We had less daylight to play with and we had their first look take place in the lovely vineyard lawn behind the main building. Both Stacey and Colin were so happy to see each other and spent a few minutes laughing, snuggling and kissing. We managed to do the bridal portraits and bridal party photos before the sun set and we had to get set up for their romantic evening ceremony.
Nighttime outdoor ceremonies are an entirely different and intimate feel. Stacey and Colin said their I do’s in a very romantic pale light in front of all of their friends and family. Just like their personalities the ceremony was filled with light hearted humor, deep love and honest commitment.
After the ceremony we all went in to the Barrel Cellar for dinner and the reception which was just stunning. After some delicious dinner, amazing speeches and dances the party really started. The Pop Rocks really brought out everyone’s inner party animal. This was one of the best dance parties I have ever photographed and more importantly the dance floor was ALWAYS full.
